Every now and then a band turns up from nowhere and makes such an impact on you you just end up thinking "Wow - where did that come from?". For me personally, SLAVES is one of those bands. Two young guys from the Garden of England who have created a monster debut release in "SUGAR COATED BITTER TRUTH" - unique but formally grounded in punk, SLAVES explode with energy over the entire course of this classic debut. Originally released by the band themselves, the initial pressing sold out via word of mouth and gigs in next to no time - now Boss Tuneage is more than happy to tie up with the band to re-release "SUGAR COATED BITTER TRUTH" with brand new packaging and artwork at a super cheap price.
