about

It is an absolute travesty that TRENCH FEVER only released one solitary 7”EP and a handful of comp appearances. Formed in 1988 when drummer Jason Cook and bassist Paul Condon left BAD DRESS SENSE, and teamed up with vocalist Neil Singleton (ex DESTRUCTORS) and guitarists Dave Sophocleus and Paul Lyne, TRENCH FEVER get the Boss Tuneage reissue treatment – “Saturday Night Trench Fever” compiles all tracks recorded by the band between 1988 and 1992, when the band split up under the weight of drummer Jason and guitarist Paul’s BLAGGERS ITA commitments. All 19 tracks have been digitally re-mastered and appear on CD format for the first time, a further 11 tracks having been previously unreleased commercially before! Featuring liner notes from the band plus photos this is a fitting document to one of the finest bands to come out of the late 80s UK hardcore punk scene.
